Draft: a lawyer still has to check this page before the AfroBridge app launches.
Who is responsible
Elom Nyadzi, Erieseering 7, 10319 Berlin, Germany. Email: airlhorm1@gmail.com.
What we collect when you join the waitlist
Your first name; your email address or WhatsApp number; your country and city; whether you're looking for dating, friends or both; your confirmation that you're 18 or older and your OK to be contacted; your personal invite code and, if you joined through someone's link, whose link it was; and when you joined.
We don't ask for your gender or who you'd like to meet, and we don't store your IP address.
Why
To tell you when AfroBridge opens in your city, to count how many people are waiting in each city, to give founding members their badge and free months, and to move people up the list when friends join with their link.
Legal basis
Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give when you join. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing airlhorm1@gmail.com, and we'll delete your details.
Where your data is stored and who helps us
The website and the waitlist run on Cloudflare, which processes the data for us. The waitlist database is set to keep its data in the EU.
Cloudflare also runs Turnstile, a check that keeps bots out of the form. To tell people and bots apart it processes technical data, such as your IP address and browser details, when you use the form. We never see or keep that data.
How long we keep it
Until AfroBridge opens in your city and we've told you, plus 3 months so you have time to join. Or earlier, if you ask us to delete it.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no tracking or advertising tools.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw your OK at any time. Email airlhorm1@gmail.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
Changes
When the app itself launches it will collect more, for example your phone number and photos, and this page will change before that happens. Version of 24 October 2026.
